We are seeking expressions of interest for the Committee on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Water Interests.
Applications are invited from First Nations Peoples who have extensive expertise across:
- western and Cultural water rights and interests
- water science and management
- water policy and planning.
Successful applicants will be highly collaborative and have experience, knowledge, and significant standing in their field.
This EOI opportunity is for First Nations Peoples only.
There are both member and subject matter expert positions available.
As part of the EOI process, a pool of suitable applicants will be established to fill future vacancies (the merit list will be active for 12 months).
Although the Committee is a non-statutory body, members receive fees and allowances consistent with the Remuneration Tribunal.
