Gippsland open houses about offshore renewable energy public consultation

We are coming to Gippsland to answer any questions that you may have about the public consultation for the area proposed for offshore renewable energy in the Bass Strait off Gippsland, Victoria.

There will be five open houses throughout the Gippsland region, where the Commonwealth Government will be available to answer any questions about the current public consultation.

These are drop-in sessions open to everyone with no registration – come whenever it suits.

We encourage you to read the Minister’s notice of proposal for the Bass Strait off Gippsland, Victoria. A number of supporting documents are available, providing additional information on the background of the offshore renewable energy consultation and declaration process as well as the Gippsland area. Please head to the Consultation hub to read these documents and provide your feedback.

Submissions close 11.59pm on 7 October 2022.
