Update: Extension for timeline to submit application through Expressions of Interest process to 11pm on 16 June 2023
We are looking for the new Independent Chair for the Reef 2050 Plan Independent Expert Panel (IEP), who provide expert scientific advice to ministers related to the Great Barrier Reef. The Chair leads the work of the Panel and reports directly to the ministers.
This is a joint appointment by the Australian and Queensland Environment Ministers for a fixed term of five years: August 2023 – July 2028.
Location is flexible, meetings are held in Brisbane and online.
