The Energy Efficiency Hub is a platform for global collaboration on energy efficiency. The Energy Efficiency Hub seeks to:
- foster collaboration and synergies to enhance energy efficiency work globally and minimise unnecessary duplication of work to further the pursuit of energy efficiency solutions
- support co-ordination and the sharing of information, best practices and research between countries, international organisations and the private sector to promote cohesion of work across energy efficiency
- provide greater visibility and a stronger presence on the international stage for energy efficiency issues
- enhance collaborative activities with the International Energy Agency and cooperate with other relevant organisations.
Australia is a founding member along with:
- European Commission
- Saudi Arabia
- United Kingdom
- United States.
The Secretariat is hosted by the International Energy Agency (IEA).
