Approved conservation covenanting programs

Programs approved by the Environment Minister for the purposes of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997

Organisations seeking to gain approval for a new conservation covenanting program, or renew approval for an existing program, must formally apply to the Australian Government Minister for the Environment.

Ministerial approval is valid for 3 years. Organisations must apply to the Minister for reapproval if they want their program’s approval to continue beyond the expiry date.
