*A common assessment method for species
* The Australian Government and several Australian states and territories have signed an agreement on a common assessment method for threatened species. Assessments undertaken by other jurisdictions that are consistent with this agreed method can be provided to the Committee to assist its deliberations under the EPBC Act. While these assessments must meet agreed information requirements, they will differ in appearance and format, depending on which state or territory prepared the assessment.
