EPBC Act Policy Statement 3.11

About this policy statement
The spiny rice-flower (Pimelea spinescens subsp. spinescens) is listed as critically endangered under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act). This policy statement is intended to provide a guide for stakeholders in determining whether a proposed action is likely to have a significant impact on the spiny rice-flower in grassland habitats from south-western to north-central Victoria.
This policy statement should be read in conjunction with Significant impact guidelines 1.1 - matters of national environmental significance.
There may be other EPBC Act policy statements available which provide further guidance.
These documents were produced through consultation with a range of stakeholders including species experts, state agencies and environmental consultants. They have been available for public comment and where appropriate changes have been made. These documents will be reviewed and updated as new information becomes available.
