About this fact sheet
This guide is designed to help farmers and land managers, as well as local authorities and the public, to understand what the Tasmanian Forests and Woodlands dominated by black gum or Brookers gum (Eucalyptus ovata / E. brookeriana) ecological community is, and if the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) may apply to land management activities.
This guide is a companion document to the approved Conservation Advice, which can be found on the Australian Government’s Species Profile and Threats (SPRAT) database.
