About the public comment process
You are invited to comment on this draft recovery plan in accordance with the provisions of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act). The draft plan has been prepared by the Queensland Department of Environment and Heritage Protection and is proposed to be adopted under the EPBC Act.
At the end of the comment period the plan will be revised by the Queensland government, taking into consideration any comments received. The Australian Government Minister for Environment and Energy will consider the revised plan when deciding to adopt the plan under the EPBC Act.
The public comment period closes 28 May 2017.
