Background
An independent review of the EPBC Act is required every 10 years. The second independent review, led by Professor Graeme Samuel AC, was released in January 2021.
Professor Samuel’s review was informed by expert advice and feedback from a wide range of stakeholders. It found that the EPBC Act required significant reform.
