About the framework
Regional Land Partnerships are a major component of the $1 billion second phase of the National Landcare Program. Under Regional Land Partnerships Service Providers will be engaged to deliver on-ground regional projects that support Australia’s national priorities for natural resource management.
To achieve successful outcomes from the Regional Land Partnerships, an Assurance Framework (the Framework) has been established that will support delivery of the projects. The Framework, which aligns with other departmental and government-wide assurance frameworks and procedures, will ensure any risks to the successful delivery of the program are being effectively considered and managed through a range of control measures.
The Framework includes processes to review the effectiveness of governance, project and risk management, program controls, and the quality and value for money of on-ground works delivered, under Regional Land Partnerships, while also supporting accountability and continuous improvement by the Service Providers.
