National Landcare Program, 2017 (Version 2.4)

About the program logic

Consistent with the Australian Government’s Natural Resource Management Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Improvement Framework, a program logic and sub logics have been developed for Regional Land Partnerships using a theory of change, program hierarchy approach. The program logic provides an overview of Regional Land Partnerships outcomes and how these outcomes will be achieved through the implementation of services appropriate to priority actions identified in plans, strategies, reports and advices.

Long term outcomes

The ecological character of Ramsar sites is maintained or improved.

Assumption

The achievement of the 5 year outcomes will contribute to the achievement of the long term outcomes.

5 year outcomes

By 2023, there is restoration of, and reduction in threats to, the ecological character of Ramsar sites, through the implementation of priority actions.

Assumption

The implementation of the identified actions will contribute to the achievement of the 5 year outcomes.

Relevant plans, strategies, reports and advice

Priority actions in Ramsar management plans, management arrangements or other relevant plans and strategies.

Requirement

Services must be relevant to priority actions identified in appropriate plans, strategies, reports and advices.

Sub logic

By 2023, there is a restoration of, and reduction in threats to, the ecological character of Ramsar sites, through the implementation of priority actions.
