Monitoring and reporting on progress and improvement is an essential part of effective program management.
We are committed to demonstrating the:
- outcomes of our natural resource management (NRM) investments
- improvements made by these programs.
Service providers can help us do this by regularly reporting on the progress of their natural resource management programs.
MERIT
If you're a service provider, use the online monitoring, evaluation, reporting and improvement tool (MERIT). MERIT helps you record project data and submit reports on the progress of your projects.
We developed MERIT to provide consistent reporting across all government NRM programs.
Regional land partnerships reporting
RLP service providers must report regularly on their progress. This is part of contractual obligations. Within the relevant management unit, service providers must report on progress delivering:
- core services
- project related services.
Environmental stewardship reporting
Reporting allows us to ensure that land managers are undertaking the work required under their stewardship funding agreements.
Pre-2018 programs
Information about programs that were launched before 2018. These programs had their own resources and templates and operated off the original MERIT user guide.
Improving data alignment
This project aimed to identify the NRM priorities, targets and reporting requirements and improve data alignment.
Vegetation assessment
Practical instructions for carrying out standard vegetation condition assessments for funded projects.
