IChEMS Online Register

You can use this webpage to find out:

  • if an industrial chemical is listed in the Industrial Chemicals Environmental Management (Register) Instrument 2022 (IChEMS Register)
  • what you need to do to manage the environmental risks of listed chemicals.

The chemicals in the different schedules of the IChEMS Register are listed below.

The chemicals are listed under their risk category. Schedule 7 chemicals are the highest concern and pose the greatest risk to the environment. They are typically prohibited or severely restricted. Schedule 1 chemicals are the lowest risk.

Select a chemical to find out what you need to do.

The list is current as at 16 December 2022, and will be updated as regulatory scheduling decisions are made.
