About this report
The purpose of this report is to test the feasibility of a series of short-listed options for national hazardous waste reform with a selection of industry and public sector stakeholders. The project has confirmed stakeholder support for the current areas of hazardous waste reform (improving the national legislation, pursuing harmonisation with other policy areas such as transport, better data and reporting, addressing gaps in infrastructure and infrastructure information, and developing a nationally consistent system for tracking the inter and intra state movements of hazardous waste).
