About this report
A consortium led by BehaviourWorks Australia developed this framework for the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. It supports measurement of waste prevention under the National Waste Policy Action Plan.
The Framework establishes methodologies and tools for measuring waste prevention in Australia. It suggests workable methods for use by public, private and not-for-profit organisations, including:
- governments
- product stewardship schemes and industry bodies
- individual waste prevention campaigns
- individual businesses.
The Framework is supported by a detailed Summary of the project and outputs. It is underpinned by three technical research reports.
