The National Waste and Resource Recovery Data Hub (the Hub) will make data more accessible for industry, government and the public, and will encourage the data community to interact and contribute to the information on the waste and resource recovery sector.
Waste and resource recovery data is collected and used by a wide range of industries, governments, non-government and research stakeholders. Through increased sharing and strong collaboration across these stakeholders, the Hub will reflect the increased quality of information and drive greater value from the use of waste and resource recovery data.
Feedback and lessons learnt on this prototype version of the Hub, which includes the first releases of interactive data visualisation tools, will help inform the next steps and future releases.

What will the Hub do?
The Australian Government is investing $20.6 million over 4 years to establish the structures needed to unlock the full potential of National Waste and Resource Recovery Data towards a circular economy. The Hub provides an interface for this work.
