Case study guidelines
Case studies in the National Waste Policy Knowledge Store represent a broad range of waste recycling and reuse initiatives across Australia. We are interested in case studies that focus on the processes/benefits and outcomes of a 'project' to achieve greater recycling and reuse, avoidance and reduction of waste.

Eligibility requirements
All Australian, state, territory and local governments, industry, business and community organisations are eligible to submit case studies for possible inclusion into the National Waste Policy Knowledge Store.
If you would like to submit a case study to be considered for publication in the National Waste Policy Knowledge Store, please read the Guidelines for the submission of case studies or contact the National Waste Policy Implementation Team at wastepolicy@environment.gov.au.
How to submit a case study
To submit a case study to the National Waste Policy Knowledge Store an Applicant must:
- read the Guidelines for the submission of case studies
- complete Appendix A - Case Study Template
- complete Appendix B - Declaration
- mail a hardcopy of each to:
Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities

GPO Box 787
CANBERRA ACT 2601 - email an electronic copy of each in Word format (not as a PDF file) to wastepolicy@environment.gov.au.
