Invitation to comment
A proposed management plan for the commercial harvest and production of plant material for the cut-flower industry has been prepared by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment for consideration as an approved Wildlife Trade Management Plan under section 303FO of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (the EPBC Act). Should the plan be approved, it is proposed that it will remain in force for up to five (5) years from the date of its declaration.
How can I get involved
In accordance with the provisions of section 303FR of the EPBC Act, you are invited to comment on the proposed management plan. Please submit your comments by Monday 17 October 2022.

About the management plan
The management plan outlines a system to facilitate and regulate the sustainable harvest and production of plant material for the cut-flower industry in NSW. The tools and strategies in this plan support the long-term conservation of plant species used in the cut-flower industry, in both their natural habitat and as part of a viable cultivated native flora industry.
