About the application
The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (the department) seeks public feedback on its proposal to delete those psittacine (parrot) species that have not undergone an assessment of their potential impacts to the environment from the List of Specimens Taken to be Suitable for Live Import (Live Import List).
A report detailing the rationale behind the proposal, and the recommended list of species to be deleted, has been prepared by the department. The purpose of this consultation document is to obtain additional information to be considered by the department prior to seeking a decision by the minister to delete the species from the Live Import List.
How can I get involved
