Special restrictions apply to the use of images from Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. An important task in the management of the park is maintaining and respecting local indigenous culture while accommodating the interests of non-Aboriginal people. While we understand that visitors and people in business want to use the park, Parks Australia has obligations to protect local Aboriginal law and lifestyle and the integrity of the World Heritage natural and cultural values of the park.

  • Before using images of Uluru and Kata Tjuta for publication or other commercial use, please review the information For Media and Artists here.

Then contact the park Media Officer to check if you require a permit.
