Andrew Esparon – BSc, BEng

Background

Andrew Esparon is the technical database manager for scientific data collected by the Supervising Scientist Branch. With a background in mathematical data processing, computer programing, and remote sensing he is also contributes to environmental research activities requiring image processing, hyperspectral analysis, or custom computer programming. Initially Andrew worked in the Environmental Radioactivity program in 2006 for three years before moving to the Ecosystem Restoration and Landform group.

Areas of expertise and research interests

Remote sensing; spatial data statistical analysis; image processing; hyperspectral analysis; and gamma ray spectrometry.
