Supervising Scientist Reports

Supervising Scientist series

The Supervising Scientist publishes the results of environmental monitoring and research by staff and external authors into the impact of uranium mining on the environment of the Alligator Rivers Region of the Northern Territory and research on the sustainable use and environment protection of tropical rivers and their associated wetlands, and also its work on supervision and assessment of uranium mining activities.

These results are made available to key stakeholders and the scientific and wider community through publication in journals and conference papers, and more detailed reporting on scientific projects through the flagship Supervising Scientist Report series (SSR) and the Internal Report series (IR).

Please note, it is Supervising Scientist Division policy for reports in the SSR series to be formally refereed by two independent experts as part of the publications process.
