Planning for 2023-24
Every year, the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder publishes a Water Management Plan. It outlines how we plan to use water for the environment across the Basin's rivers and wetlands under a range of different weather and water availability conditions at both the valley and Basin-scale.
Our plan looks at:
- how much water is expected to be available
- the seasonal rainfall outlook
- plant, animal, river and wetland health.
Every year is different.
