
About the event
On Thursday 6 June at the Renmark Hotel Function Room, a panel of expert speakers will present on what native fish and birds love, what they don’t like, where they travel and what we’re doing to help them get there. Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder Jody Swirepik will be joined by Iain Ellis from NSW Department of Industries Fisheries and Dr Heather McGinness from CSIRO to discuss a range of topics, including:
- Native fish in the Darling River and Anabranch
- How we can help fish survive drought
- The river conditions that native fish need
- What’s happening with native birds at the Murray-Darling Basin scale.
The event is free and open to the general public.
