The Review: the Commonwealth Environmental Water Office (CEWO) review of the Long-Term Intervention Monitoring (LTIM) and the Environmental Water Knowledge and Research (EWKR) projects.
From 2014 - 2019 the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder implemented the LTIM and EWKR projects to inform legislative reporting requirements and adaptive management of Commonwealth environmental water. The CEWO undertook a review of these projects from November 2019 to April 2021.

Water’s Edge Consulting and Associates completed an independent scientific evaluation of the LTIM and EWKR projects to measure their success and provide recommendations for the CEWO’s future program.
The CEWH has also published a response to the report and recommendations
Stage 2 – Basin stakeholder consultation (February 2021 – April 2021)
The CEWO invited consultation with Murray-Darling Basin stakeholders on the evaluation findings and recommendations.
Review Outcomes
The findings of the stage 1 scientific evaluation and feedback from the stage 2 consultation process inform the collaborative design process for the Future Flow-MER activities from September 2021 – March 2022.
