Latest water use – Condamine–Balonne Valley

Last updated: 07 October 2026

This page provides information on watering actions taking place in the Condamine–Balonne Valley this water year. We’ve grouped actions by status: planned or on hold, in progress, and completed.

For watering actions completed in previous water years, visit Past water use.

Note, the figures and dates provided in the tables may be estimates only. 'CEW' refers to Commonwealth environmental water. All water volumes are in megalitres (ML).

Planned or on hold

Table 1 lists watering actions that are planned or on hold in the Condamine–Balonne Valley.

The availability of environmental water in the Condamine–Balonne depends on the nature of flow events that occur.

Unregulated entitlements provide opportunistic access to river flows and overland flows when water resource plan rules are triggered and a period of water harvesting access is announced.
