About this publication

This 2019 State Party Report is a report outlining Australia’s response to Decision 41 COM 7B.24 of the World Heritage Committee. The Report demonstrates how we are addressing the pressures facing the Great Barrier Reef through sound policy and cutting edge science, substantial direct investment and world class marine park management.

2021 Additional Information

In February 2021 Australia provided additional information on the state of conservation of the Great Barrier Reef ahead of the rescheduled 44th session of the World Heritage Committee.
