This report is one in a series of technical reports that make up the National Assessment of Chemicals Associated with Coal Seam Gas Extraction in Australia (the Assessment).

This report documents the development and application of a numerical modelling framework for predicting environmental concentrations of chemicals associated with coal seam gas extraction in Australia. Both soil and shallow groundwater models were developed to predict environmental concentrations.
