We have 2 vacancies in the Murray–Darling Basin Aboriginal Water Entitlements Program's Advisory Group.
Positions will begin in January 2027.
This is a chance to:
contribute to a $100 million water entitlement initiative
strengthen First Nations leadership in water ownership and governance
shape policies and decision-making on the Aboriginal Water Entitlements Program.
Please consider applying if you:
have a connection to and understanding of the Murray–Darling Basin
identify and are accepted as a Traditional Owner in the Basin and have place-based knowledge
have knowledge of water issues in the Basin.
have Cultural water knowledge and basic knowledge of how water is used and allocated. Including the water market, infrastructure, policy, strategy and planning of water on Country.
We will build a merit pool of suitable candidates for future opportunities.

Roles are only available to Traditional Owners of the Murray–Darling Basin.
