Australian Government response to the Independent Review of Australian Climate Service

On 23 December 2024, the Assistant Minister for Climate Change and Energy, the Hon Josh Wilson MP released the Australian Government’s response to the Independent Review of the Australian Climate Service (ACS).

The government response agrees in principle, or notes, all recommendations of the review.

In line with the government response, the Assistant Minister will issue a new Statement of Expectations to the ACS in early 2025.

The ACS is continuing to deliver projects such as the National Climate Risk Assessment and Hazards Insurance Partnership.
