This report is one in a series of technical reports that make up the National Assessment of Chemicals Associated with Coal Seam Gas Extraction in Australia (the Assessment).
This report assesses the 69 chemicals associated with coal seam gas extraction in Australia that were not identified as being of low concern for human health as a result of the initial screening process (described in Chemicals of low concern for human health based on an initial assessment of hazards.)
- Assesses the potential exposure of workers and the public to these chemicals when used for drilling or hydraulic fracturing in coal seam gas extraction
- Uses information about hazards and potential exposure to characterise the risks to workers and the public from these chemicals when used when drilling or hydraulic fracturing in coal seam gas extraction.
