About the review of decisions to have a plan public comment process
You are invited to submit your views on whether a threat abatement plan is needed for the above key threatening processes in accordance with provisions of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
As a statutory requirement, the Minister must review past decisions not to have a threat abatement plan at five yearly intervals and be informed by the advice of the Threatened Species Scientific Committee and may take into consideration the views of other interested parties.
At the end of the comment period, the Minister will consider advice received to decide whether a threat abatement plan is a feasible, effective and efficient way to abate this process.
