About the application
The Department of the Environment and Energy has received an application and draft assessment report under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) to include Penaeus monodon on the Live Import List.
The report has been prepared against the standard terms of reference and assesses the suitability of these species for import into Australia.
How can I get involved
Comments are invited on the draft report. It is available for public comment for 30 business days, closing on 31 August 2018.

All comments received will be provided to the applicant to address in finalising the assessment report. Any relevant information provided will be considered by the Department prior to briefing the Minister.
