About this report
A consortium led by RMIT University, Arcadis and One Planet Consulting prepared this report for the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
The report proposes a suite of actions to bring about fundamental improvements to products and materials entering or circulating through the Australian market, and how Australia manages them.
It identifies 10 overarching, cross-cutting levers for industry and government to drive greater uptake of eco-design across the Australian economy. It also includes in-depth studies on how to influence design across four key sectors: building, textiles, plastics and electronics.
